SR 312 Over Intracoastal Waterway
St. Augustine, Florida
RS&H completed the design of this high-level 24-span, 3,575-foot-long prestressed concrete beam bridge, which provides 65 feet of vertical clearance over the Intracoastal Waterway just south of St. Augustine. Approach roadway improvement design included pavement, drainage, signage and marking, lighting and landscaping.
SR 429 Interchange Design
Orange County, Florida
RS&H designed and prepared plans and specifications for a new fully directional, four-level interchange between SR 429 and Florida’s Turnpike. The improvements included new construction of directional ramps, flyovers, at-grade intersections with and without signals, and at-grade roadways that provided for local traffic circulation. The project required complex freeway design, complex bridge and structures design, maintenance of traffic plans, utility coordination, drainage design and permitting, signing and pavement marking, signalization, lighting plans, and stormwater management and permitting.
