RS&H Promotes Holt Graves to Chief Financial Officer
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Oct. 27, 2016 – RS&H, one of the leading architecture, engineering and consulting firms in the nation, announced that Holt Graves, CPA, has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer.
“We are so fortunate to have someone of Holt’s caliber to quickly and easily assume the role of CFO,” said RS&H CEO David Sweeney.
A Jacksonville native, Graves joined RS&H in 1992 and has served as the firm’s controller for many years, working alongside retiring CFO Ken Jacobson. Together, they created more efficient and effective financial processes and took the steps necessary to make them happen. It’s because of this and his continuous hard work that Holt received the firm’s 2016 Professional Practitioner of the Year award.
“I feel like I’ve been training for this position for 17 years working alongside Ken,” Graves said. “We’re like a family, which is a big part of the RS&H culture. That’s the thing I’ve always valued.”
The RS&H Board of Directors and executive team, with the assistance of an executive recruitment search firm, elected Graves to the position after conducting a comprehensive assessment of internal and external candidates.
“I can think of no other person with higher integrity, professionalism and ethics,” Sweeney said. “Holt is and will continue to be a great ambassador of the culture we value so highly.”
