JAA Administration Building at Jacksonville International Airport

RS&H prepared design-build criteria documents for a three-story Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) administration office building of 67,500 to 70,000 square feet at Jacksonville International Airport. Included in the documents were exterior concept drawings for the use of the selected design-build firm.

The work for this project included:

  • Prepared site plans illustrating building placement, parking, access road, connections to public service, site utilities, loading, landscaping, and site lighting. Prepared preliminary space plan.
  • Prepared preliminary layout and design and final building and site plan, outlined specifications, and prepared estimate of probable construction costs.
  • Bidding phase responsibilities included: preparing and distributing criteria package, attending pre-bid conferences, and assisting JAA in evaluating proposals.
  • Project management responsibilities included: scheduling, resource allocation, monitoring, oversight, assembly, and coordination of all documentation.
