Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport

RS&H  provided design and construction phase services for the North Terminal Redevelopment Project at Detroit Metropolitan Airport.  We were responsible for the airfield civil engineering portion of the project, including reconstruction of 200,000 square yards of Portland Cement Concrete apron.  As general consultant we designed and provided construction administration services for a large deicing operations pad and control building, which involved demolishing a portion of  Concourse C, adjusting existing  utilities, installation of a new glycol collection and underground storage system, construction of a  new 33,800-square-yard concrete apron and the erection of a  two-story control building.
