Fuel Cell Hangar

The renovation of this fuel cell hangar encompassed the full design and construction management for repairs to an existing 11,000-square-foot fuel cell maintenance facility, deployment processing area, and an adjacent wing tank storage area. The original fuel cell facility was designed to accommodate repairs to F-16 aircraft.  RS&H’s design re-purposed the facility to meet the requirements of F-15s, as well as current code standards including fire, life safety, and electrical design.

RS&H performed value engineering studies to ensure the renovations met the funded construction cost amount.
