Cardiology Suite Expansion Mayo Clinic

Due to increasing growth, the Mayo Clinic Cardiology department is seeking to expand upon the quantity of existing patient services. In order to add the needed capacity for increased patient visitations, they are acquiring additional clinicians. The additional utilization of the existing Cardiac Catheterization Labs requires the expansion of the prep/hold spaces from 11 to 17 bays.

RS&H provided design services for the addition of 2,096 square feet to the existing post-anesthetic care unit (PACU). In addition, the project required relocation of several spaces to accommodate for added office space, an expansion of the echo/tread rooms, and creation of equipment storage space. The combined square footage for the project equates to 8,457 square feet of scope.
