Fraud Alert: If you received an unexpected job offer from RS&H, please notify us.

Recruitment Fraud Alert

A malicious and fraudulent employment campaign is targeting the AEC industry, including RS&H. People claiming to be RS&H associates are extending false employment offers to job seekers and attempting to steal money and personal information. These scams are using legitimate, popular job search platforms and social media sites, and they often use RS&H’s logo, letterhead, and legitimate associate names, including our CEO, David Sweeney.

The job offers often come via email without any additional connection, such as a phone call. They also may send the job seeker a check to cover work-from-home setup expenses. When deposited, they gain access to the depositor’s bank account.

We are taking these fraudulent actions seriously and encourage you to:

  • Immediately cease communications with anyone who appears to be making a fraudulent offer.
  • Verify the job opening is legitimate on RS&H’s career page.
  • Report any suspicious employment offers or other communications via the form below. Be as specific as possible.
  • Contact the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (iC3) to file a detailed report.

To help ensure communications are legitimately from RS&H, please keep in mind:

  • RS&H does not solicit or make payments as part of the offer process. We will not ask for banking information through email or over the phone.
  • All legitimate recruitment communications will come from an official rsandh.com email address, not a free email service (Gmail, Outlook, Live, Yahoo, AOL, etc.).
  • We do not conduct interviews over an instant messaging application, text, or social platform. We also do not extend offers without a direct conversation with our recruiting team and hiring managers.
