After a 30-year career as a bridge, paving, and excavation contractor, Bob joined RS&H in 2020 to start a Project Controls Group. In a few short years, he has amassed a collection of former contractor executives from around the country who have bid and built billions of dollars in construction projects. The team provides a unique perspective on the methods, means, and motivations relating to critical path scheduling, claims mitigation and analysis, risk management, cost estimating, change order management, and constructability.

In this episode, Bob discusses:

  • The value and benefits of project controls
  • Project cost management
  • Ideas/innovations to offset cost increases
  • Strategies to mitigate risks and uncertainties during a project

This episode offers a sneak peek into the RS&H-hosted WASHTO session, where Bob will be a panelist discussing construction market disruptions and the rise of alternative contract delivery. Don’t miss the session on July 9, from 8:45 to 9:30 AM.
