Rob McMullen Joins RS&H as Principal Environmental Scientist
[Miami, Fla.] – Employee-owned, national engineering, architecture, and consulting firm RS&H welcomes Rob McMullen as principal environmental scientist. Considered one of the leading subject matter experts in Florida, McMullen has served in various environmental science roles for over three decades with Florida agencies and companies such as the Florida Department of Transportation, Florida Power & Light, and several consulting firms.
His extensive knowledge of environmental and engineering services will greatly benefit clients and their projects in his new role at RS&H, which will center on highway, transit, and aerospace transportation, including traffic noise, natural resources and sociocultural issues, and arboriculture in urban forests.

McMullen holds a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Miami. He is a certified arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture. McMullen also serves as an adjunct professor for Miami Dade College.
Over his professional career, McMullen has served in leadership roles for the Doral Environmental Advisory Board and South Florida Association of Environmental Professionals. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge of the Florida natural environment with others, serving as a past instructor for the Florida Master Naturalist certification. Rob is a certified and experienced instructor for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Qualified Stormwater Management Inspector program.
